You wouldn't believe the relief I'm feeling from finding this forum. I lost my tribunal yesterday and had no idea what to do next - except to just accept that I'd have to sign on. Thankfully my medical was 5 months 3 weeks ago, so thanks for the knowledge that I can start again in a week! Also, thanks to all who gave advice in the stickied thread - I can see why I lost so convincingly now -

just ticked the boxes on the forms and tried to look like a normal human being at the medical. Silly, really.

i once had to go to a small claims court against my 2 brothers, i was advised to represent myself... by a lawyer...i had never been in a court before...i took the advice printed out a copy of a document ,that i felt would help me and that the judge would see i was an honest person... he only listend to the lawyer rattling off, brother never spoke... judge was handed my paper by me... he glanced at it, without comment..and said case dismissed... i lost most of my possesssions... my brothers got off scot free...yes i thought like you that honesty will show and pay...but now during my esa appeal i have worked hard to build up a case and i will never represent myself again.. waiting on a tribunal date.

btw. i'm unsure how to use the quote feature here, anyone help?
