Hi,

I wonder if anyone can advise me?

I checked my credit file this week and noticed that in March 2007 I have mark against me saying there are 2 late payments or i am 2 months in arrears with my current account. I called the bank and they 1 day later told me that it was for 2 cheques I had written that they honoured (1 in March 1 in April i think they said). This took me a total of £8 overdrawn for about 6 days in total.

Are they allowed to do this? I am sorry if i sound a little vague was shocked and the gentleman on the phone just told me there was nothing they could do about it and not to worry as it would go away after 5 years (which isnt true at all).

I have no other marks on the account and have since gone overdrawn and these instances dont show.

What if anything can i do?

Thank you

S7oose.
