Not sure if this is the right section to post this

 

A friends son applied for a loan with Yes Loans

 

He was told should be no problem (!) and had to fork up a £69.00 fee on line when doing the on line application

 

Time passed and then he was told that he couldnt have the loan

 

Now, I wonder what the justification is for a fee of this amount before a loan is granted, I could understand some fee if he was successful but this sounds rather a rip of

 

Any advice would be appreciated

I think that your son should be able to claim the fee back....depends on the terms.

 

However, there are lots of stories where people have had to fight for months to get their money back.
