Hi All

Just an update, send of letters to Howard Cohen and CL Finance giving them a further 7 days to comply with Judges order which will be the 10th February.

As i can't see them comlying to this, which would be the next step of action to take.

I did contact the court on this and they gave me a couple of options to take.

1. send the Court Bailiffs in, which will be a fee off £100

2. Freeze there bank account, which will be a fee off £100. Now this option could be tricky as the Lewis group are the main holders. But Cl Finance took me to Court, so really on a sticky wicket there.

Or the only other option that i can think off, is taking a claim out on CL Finance and add more costs to my original wasted costs claim.

Any iders anyone what the best plan i should take in this, as i don't want these B.....gers to get away with it.

Am I right in saying though that the £100 is added to the amount that they are collecting - so you get it back!

PS If you do send the bailiffs in can you video it :)

Hi Letsgetitsorted

Yes, would be nice to turn up in person with the bailiffs :D, but i think CL finances office is in Yorkshire not sure.

But i'm thinking it could be better putting in a claim, and add my extra costs on top of the original claim.

Oooooohhhh what to do... freeze their accounts (which should rile the workers somewhat come payday) or send the bailiff in.

I read somewhere that you can attend with the bailiff actually... baseball bats have to left at home unfortunately but I think pepper spray is permitted!

Say the Claimant and the Solicitor representing them are run by the same person or there is a definitive link between the two I understand that the court can order the legal rep be responsible for the costs.

What if they refused to pay the court order for wasted costs?

Isn't it pointless chasing after them for the money? Won't they keep the bailiff jumping through hoops and frustrating the process?

Hi Supasnooper

Thanks for the links, that third party order looks interesting.

So that would be Howard Cohen who would be getting the dept.

As he was the one who sent my wasted costs, on a Lewis Cheque last time.

Although that was just only for £6.10 .

I can put up the letter he sent me if you like to see it.

Hi CB

No, not at the moment, but Supasnooper gave me a link about third party money orders. Which may be the best way to go.

I was also been told to get intouch with trading standards and the FOB, as CL finance could have there licence taken away.

Hi Vjohn

It's all laid out in post 629

Gaz

Great news then!

I prepared a similar costs schedule but it totalled £718.36 - costs hearing scheduled for 22nd Feb.

Did the Claimant respond to your costs schedule or defend it on any grounds?
