The Banks are Watching, arent they?

To what extent do people believe this site is monitored by the banks, by that i mean for instance if they are dealing with a particular case then locating the threads of that person and gaining knowledge?

 

It is sometimes possible to quickly assess a persons resolve on here depending on their tone, eg i couldnt possibly go to court etc, along with their concerns and level of subject matter education. Any thoughts?[/i]

Yes I think most people who post on here are pretty resolved, (and become more so as they stick around)...

TBH, I like the fact that they are not allowed in the forums due to the T&C. So if they ever bring it up, I know that they are not agreeing to the T&C of this site.

i think at the mo, most banks don't care...

 

if this becomes widespread, expect some lobbying of government .... and possibly, very remote possibility, a change in domestic law

Briefly. the insurance companies are having to pay some compensation to people who wre missold endowment mortgages.
