Hey, Electron isn't that bad actually. I've got one and I haven't really noticed any difference apart from the fact that there is no cheque facility. But I hate cheques, so no skin off my nose (in fact I sent my cheque book back to the bank and told them not to reissue it). The majority of shops take electron and you can use it to pay online as well.

Don't forget to contribute to the CAG. Without them we would probably still be drafting our prelim letters.

OH Cap One - £436/ So far received £40. MCOL submitted 17/7/06. Caved 4/8/06 for full amount!!!

Well ive just run into my overdraft limit where the account will stay until they pay me what they owe me and have decided to open another account with FD.

Who will get the first settlement? I personally think they are not going to turn up in court and we'll all have to threaten with Bailiffs.

I was speaking to an advisor in branch a couple of days ago and he didnt have any idea about all of this - after i thoroughly explained it to him, which was good practice, thankyou Paul at St Annes Square Manchester - gave him the website so hes probably lurking somewhere! , for when it does go to court, he was insistent that Barclays, his words, were massive with huges amounts of resources and a very good legal team. They have a lot more money than i do to be fighting a case - no s__t , youve got all of my money!

The other banks may not be bothered, but we'll see you in court. Ok mate, whatever you say.....

I wonder why "Paul" thinks that Barclays have got more resources and a bigger legal team than any of the other banks???

Because he is talking out of his bottom!!
