I'm not sure how useful this is given the purpose of the site but still I will feel better for sharing this. Nationwide has recently moved to a new provider for thier credit card customer services. This provider only deals with Nwide card which is just super.

 

Unfortunately the staff seem ill equipped for th job having little experience and inadequate training. Clearly if you were reclaiming your charges you will bypass the ordinary workers but if you have a query I would be VERY careful about the answers you are given on the telephone.

 

The situation is improving, they realize they've dropped the ball big time here, but I've personally dealt with loads of customers who have had an appaling service.
