Thats terrible..we are having the same problems with DC's, but this forum has helped us loads. Thank god i found it, it has given me so much insite to what DC's are legally allowed to do and now am fighting them to be debt free.

No, but a friend of mine attempted suicide about debts he had actually accumulated.

He's not that desperate now - especially as i reduced one member of Ruthless to tears on his behalf.

This is awful. Why did anyone else not know about the problem? Although where money is concerned the older generation tend to keep things very much to themselves and like to pay what they owe or think they owe. Unlike the present generation who 'buy now pay later' or not if they can get away with it.
