  4. Hi emzzii i am copying a section of holiday from my wife’s handbook hope this helps. Sorry can add picture. where your hours or pay fluctuates your holiday pay will be paid at a average weekly rate using 12 whole weeks (Sunday to Saturday ) preceding you leave where any work was completed. Whole weeks where you did not work will not be used in the calculations of the average where you have less than 12 such weeks the average will be calculated using all such week’s available. any other things you need to know please let me know. thanks for your help.
  5. Hi Emmzzi.. Thanks for your response it says £ per hour....wage rate..Says you are paid on the basis of a week of 5 days. Holiday Entitlement it says.....year runs from January to December full annual Entitlement is 28 days inclusive of Bank Holidays.it says look at company handbook regarding holidays but cannot find it so will ask company for a copy, they are saying not entitled to it but are paying part timer's on 16 hour contracts who are getting additional holidays but not her. just wants to know why she is not getting it keeps bieng side tracked. thanks

Hi all Writing on behalf of my wife she works for a company seasonal where she has a 4 month contract (Dec to march ) on 24 hours per week then the other 8 months is a 32 hour contract she has since March worked over 190 extra hours since March . The Company are saying that she cannot claim for additional holiday hours because of her contact which to me is not correct . I heard that a law case was heard in Scotland regarding this not sure if it will make any difference. Any help and advice will be really appreciated. Thanks all
  7. Hi all, I am not sure if i can ask this question but i want to start my own cake Business in my outside garage. It has already been converted by previous owners into a kitchen all we have done is update it, My question is whether i can start this up as i have started from the beginning and looked at my title deeds ( which i have part uploaded) there is a section which i have highlighted and want to ask if anyone knows if i can start my business of not.   8. hi Bankfodder, is their a Template for the letter of claim, The car was reported within Car Giant's 30 day to claim for a repair or refund my daughter said do the repair but when she got the car back 5 days later it went again the next day , they also supply a 6 months warranty but the keep fobbing her off, She asked for the repair form from Car Giant and they sent her a 2 line email saying they repaired it but with no breakdown. Can i still make this claim sorry for being an idiot.
  9. hi bankfodder thanks for your advice, car giant and the biggest selling car company in london and they used their own garage to do the repairs, it is under £10,000.. asked for their diagnostic reports but said they do not keep them, she reported this in the 1st 3 days after buying the car and have been told by Fiat that this covers the 1st 30 days and after... ..not sure if that is true ,just waiting on the finance company to make a decision but will have to wait 14 days...
  10. Hi i am writing for my daughter, she purchased a car on finance with car giant , 3 days later the automatic gear box broke, she contacted them straight away to report this.. All their cars come with a Diagnostic report... they do not keep records of them...... said take it to a Fiat dealer as it is a Fiat 500 auto for their Diagnostic loads of faults which they sent to car giant and fiat said it will cost £1800.00.... Car giant said they would like the car back to do their own Diagnostic.... .they would do their own repair which involves a clutch and bearing kit, We asked for a copy of the repairs and they sent a 2 line report..... .One day later after getting it back the gearbox went again said to my daughter to retake to Fiat for another Diagnostic and again failed it..... .Car giant are now causing so much problems it has really upset my daughter she only passed her test one week before and they are not very helpful.. Car giant sent out an engineeer to the car and she was told he would take it out for an hour to see what was wrong... He got into the car tried to drive it but gave up without even driving it sent a report to Car Giant and the Finance company who own it,,, ,they are saying she might not be able to take the car back no reason yet takes 14 days. ..they are acting very badly and she does not know what to do ..it has been just over 6 weeks from buying the car and she is distraught Please can anyone help...

  14. just recd and email back from Greenwich council as emailed them my foi and they have said The information you have requested is exempt under section 40(1) of the Act because it constitutes personal data of which you are the data subject . not sure what that means
  15. hi made and agreement over the phone in april 2017 to Greenwich council to pay council tax weekly as that is how I am paid.... today I recd a court summons with a £95 court costs added for no reason... phoned them and basically they said had to pay it.....only have £150.00 to pay which is 6 weeks worth of weeky payments so well within the limit to pay for the year... have requested a freedom of information request from them for all the phone calls and letters from april 2017.. the letters were sent with a weekly breakdown of my payments but I have lost them hence the request is there anymore I can do as they are very un-helpful... thanks paul
  16. are we in agreement that the Samsung curve 7 mobile adverts are mis-leading and false....surley this needs to be brought to the attention of the relevant authority....they are still advertising this now so a lot of other people must be under the same illusion...
  17. hi bf this is my daughters so she know a lot more than me as a father or so she thinks......she thought because it still worked everything was ok.....so never said anything earlier.....but have taken all you said and will let her know..i know that Samsung will not do anything as money and humans are not important to a big company like them...don't like it go somewhere else attitude.....
  18. hi my daughter purchased from vodaphone ( what a waste of space they are rude and could not be bothered ).. she had a Samsung curve 7 for 3 days and dropped it from about 6" and the screen cracked.... I have looked at their selling adverts and it shows it being bent dropped from height an being bent and not cracking...,. I have contacted them and they said tough cracked screen voids warranty... .that was 8 months ago and the phone worked perfectaly.. .she woke up last Tuesday and the phone was completely dead contacted Samsung and they said take it to their shop in surrey quays which she did... .they said they could not do anything so could not help.... just need to know if it is false advertising and what are her rights.. .thanks paul
  19. hi,i have just has a debt collecter from marston holiding knock on my door for a debt my daughter had.....he was dressed as a police officer look a like..he ,had a stab proof vest on with arrest officer written across the front and on his sleeves.....I have cctv and caught him on camera. he said he was here to arrest my daughter for a £57.00 debt issued via the courts..... he gave me a form with arrest notice on it saying if not paid he would arrest her..me being quite old panicked and said I would pay this....thinking he was a police officer... it says on the form failure to resolve this she would be liable to arrest either by a marston arrest officer or a police officer.. my question is was this legal and can a debt collector have the power of arrest... really confused on this thanks paul
  20. I am currently with Vodafone and have been for years now. Cancelled a contract with them which they then put all the outstanding month bills into one. Now they have suddenly said I need to pay all in one lump sum which I can not do. On one month they hadn't taking out a bill and because of there mistake I was getting charged left right and centre. they first said I could pay £186 each month and now suddenly I have to pay the whole lump sum. they were threatening me over the phone for £150 today and the rest next month otherwise they would have cut off my phone line.
  21. My daughter asked O2 for an early upgrade which they agreed and and said she had to pay £100.00 which she did... She at the time asked the live chat person 4 times within the conversation that she would like to use her police discount which was 30% of the monthly charge and 4 times he said no problem on the new contract.... When she completed and 5 mins after it was all agreed she then asked him again about the discount at which he said he COULD NOT give it to her. SHE WAS FUMING...... She has contacted customer services twice now after waiting 20 mins... They read back to her the chat with the idiot and they agreed she had said this 5 times. They cut her off after 15 mins. This a I believe is a matter for the Police (fraud) of Trading Standards and The Regulator.. Can I get to anyone with a brain higher up the chain... TY Paul
  22. my daughter bought a iPhone charging lead from a 3 store and 5 days later the lead did not charge so is damaged..she lost her receipt but took her bank statement in to show as proof or purchase.....they refused to refund her saying the receipt has a code on the bottom and they need this...help please...paul
  23. i closed my virgin media tv acct in july 2015. ....waited for a final bill until aug and then paid that in full 3 weeks later..... ..2 weeks after that they defaulted me which made my credit rating fall by 223 and went into the poor section..i was not a happy person ....went onto the forums here and found the ceo mr hockbridge and i emailed him telling him this. ..they responded by saying a dedicated TEAM WILL DEAL WITH THIS.. THEY CONTACTED MY 2 DAYS LATER THE PERSON NOT VERY HELPFUL AND SAID THE DEFAULT WOULD NOT BE REMOVE. ...i then waited another 3 weeks and sent the same email with a little bit of tweeking Again the next day another person ( sadly never took his name). .he said he would look into it and will contact me again ( i thought that would not happen and was giving up hope )... Got a big surprise the next day when he phoned me and said that the default was going to be removed the next day..I was gobsmacked... .i checked my credit score the next day and it had been removed.. .all i can say to anyone trying is to keep pressing them. .do not give up hope and with luck get the correct person on the other end of the phone.. .I AM SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!
