  1. hi not allowed to appeal a 2nd stage warning only a 3rd...i had two days off at beginning of year and 2 days off at the ned of the year,,kept getting phone calls from guv asking when i will return..if i had the 2nd two days off 3 days later would not have been issued..never late good worker so they are being very fussy and no commone sense used..also brother died within this time which has effected me..had a chest infection for 3 months went in every day..this is the thanks you get...

  5. hi all.i am curently working but recently i went of sick with a tooth infection...which the dentist has now said needs removing....my boss phoned me for 2 days asking when i was coming back to work , nigh on forcing me to go back early..i felt very pressurised even though i still was unwell.....but the real kick in the teeth ( pardon the pun ) i was given a 2nd warning at work due to a previuos 2 day sickness i had just under 6 month before,,,again getting phone calls....my question is can they phone me at home or not..thanks all..

  7. hi i owed £76.00 to bt for bt.vision..i did not pay due to financial diffulculties but i am now able to pay....i go onto bt.com website log in and go to my bt.vision acct and have so far paid £56..00 leaving £20.00...in the meantime bt have i think sold the debt to moorcroft and they are telling me with there letters, full up with big bold red letters that if i do not pay them they will charge me an additional £160.00 to cover there costs,court costs etc...do i pay the £20.00 to bt or to moorcroft....then ignore them ,my prefered method ,but how do i stand..thanks all
  8. hi just wandering if paypal are a bank and can you claim charges back from them as i am being hassled by there debt collecting agency about £100.00 in charges i supposedly own..is there a paypal address i can sent letters to,..thanks all and as usual a great site
  9. when did they ever arrive on this planet....oh i remember when they spent £700.00 on there new chairs oh and tables at there brand new expensive inner city offices......no wonder they want to make us part time they need the money saved on getting more expensive ones..

  11. hi being a posty the issues with royal mail are not about wages,..they are about changing working conditions and forcing through issues without any involvement with workers or the union...trying to steam roller there way past us without any thought to people being people with families bills etc...we are willing to work hard but they put impossible tasks to us knowing full well that we cannot achieve these in the time given to us..we work like anyone else 40 hrs per week but they want 60 hours work within those 40 hrs...we are all human beings but not to royal mail.....sorry but just putting my point of view...

  15. hi all,sorry been away for awhile and just catching up...barclays have closed my acct and have given me 10 days tp pay all owed..£921.00..of which £650.00 is charges and interest..i have not been able to get to magistrates ct to file a claim..can i stay there proposed court action and if so how..any advice will be great..thanks paul
  16. hi.i have written to barclays 3 times for 3 seperate claims on the same acct..ie:re-occuring charges..i have not gone through the court yet as received letters from then stating awaiting oft ruling but will keep on fileane will deal with after ruling....the letter is from barclays...i have just spoken to a moron at barclays and he said basically tough i have to pay it back until oft ruling because the bank charges have not been ruled illegal yet so i have to pay it back...when i said then the same appiles to me he said no it doesn't...
  17. i have received a letter from barclays saying they are going to take me to court over £885.00 that i owe them but i no longer use the acct due the £600.00 in charges owing to me by them.......is there a template letter saying to them to back off until the test case is finalised..thanks..paul
  18. i have had to stop using my barclays acct because of £500.00 of charges..i have had to change everything over to nationwide..wages bills etc...as soon as was paid it went straight to barclays and was not able to use the acct..it has snowballed so unable to get out of it..i am being charged £90.00 per month but unable to do anything..i have put a claim in for the bank charges but has been held due to oft ruling....is there a letter template where i can ask barclays to stop charging me these charges and suspend the acct until oft decision...thanks paul

  23. he was a union member up to 4 weeks before the strike,.....and thanks i am starting to feel a little happier about ignoring him...
  24. hi all i did not mean to offend anyone and cause such hostilities amongst members...i agree with gemspan and i work day by day and i will not talk to this person unless work related...i also forgot to mention in my original post that this person was wallet waving..ie.saying i know no one is talking to me but at least i am getting paid ( ok we did snub him but this is no reason to say those comments )......hence my dislike to this person..we did suffer hardship...thanks paul
