  1. Gary, you could always email the CEO of BT explaining you didn't realise you owed them anything and ask them to remove the adverse reporting on your file if you pay in full.
  2. It's very simple. Your contract is with the seller, no one else. Insist he contacts the courier and find the parcel. If he refuses, sue him!
  3. You say you paid most of this back! How much did you borrow, what have you paid back? We need as many details as possible to advise you.
  4. I find it strange that a Mortgage company would lend the money without some kind of life insurance for your late Husband. Are you 100% sure there is no insurance on the Mortgage?
  5. If they issued Court papers, then you can bet your left leg they didn't stop them when the OP agreed to pay them. Trustonline is the only way to go.
  6. You will NOT have PPI. Just because their T&C's say you have to pay a charge, they are not FAIR T&C's. If you have been charged these, send a letter reclaiming them. If they fail to refund you, Issue Court papers.
  7. Hi DJ67, Firstly, my sympathies to your wife. I know exactly how she feels as I was in exactly the same situation. I had back pains/sciatica for 8 years before they finally sent me for my MRI which showed a compressed slipped disc. I had major back surgery last May and apart from some residual nerve damage am fully fit and back at work (hard physical work) My only advise for your wife, is to worry about herself and not work. I was suicidal until I was finally diagnosed and at least she knows what the problem is. I was off work for a year and the Dr was exceptional just signing me off. Remember if she is taking the medication and driving, she may well be over the drink/drug limit. Tell her that work isn't everything and she needs to get herself fixed. Jogs
  8. You were £300 down, they offered £150 You have spent MANY MANY MANY hrs trying to reclaim that extra £150. Seriously. you should have taken it and moved on with your life. You have nothing to gain and everything to lose!
  9. Did the Court suspend the hearing or was there a hearing? What EXACTLY does the order say?
  10. I have moved your thread to the bailiffs forum where you will receive more tailored help. You don't need to do anything.
  11. Make sure you post up their POC so we can adjust the defense for you.
  12. If you are 110% sure, your defence from Andyorch Defence 1 The Claimant's claim was issued on (date). 2 The Claimant contends that the Claimant's claim so issued is a claim in contract and is statute barred pursuant to the provisions of section 5 of the limitation act 1980. If, which is denied, the claimant contends that the Defendant is in breach of the alleged contract, in excess of 6 years have elapsed since the date on which any cause of action for breach accrued for the benefit of the Claimant. 3 The Claimant's claim to be entitled to payment of £x or any other sum, or relief of any kind is denied. Regards Andy
  13. If you are 110% certain that it is Statue Barred (No payment or acknowledgment) for over 6 six years, you have a cast iron defence. Can you confirm it's statue barred?
  14. You have a court order telling you how much to pay. If Shoo's want to change this they HAVE to take you back to court, If you have been paying the amount on the order, they won't win. Should you want to point out the error of their way, that's up to you. Something simple, 'I am paying the court order as stated and will not be sending you any information'
  15. Don't do anything except pay as you have been. Do NOT sent Shoo's anything, they are not entitled to it.
  16. It only shows what YOU have been googling neil. So for example, I get Policemen in Gimp suits
  17. When was the account opened? Last payment?
  18. Hi Mr HAt, excellent post. I am no HR Guru, but I think the Employer has followed proceedure to the letter. I fail to see ANY good outcome from this.
