  1. I remember Gove banging on about 'business' not being ready for the new regulations/charges and now look who can't tell them what the situation is...
  2. The solution to this seems to be to just wave through goods at the border. Does anyone know how it's going with the facility at Sevington, where lorries are meant to drive 22 miles inland for customs and other checks? If I had a dodgy cargo, I would head somewhere else... Brexit border chiefs left in the dark hours before new checks kick in – POLITICO WWW.POLITICO.EU Ports have spent millions of their own cash on high-spec inspection facilities — but still don’t know how they’ll recoup their costs.
  3. Let's not get combative please, we're just trying to help. This is what FTMDave said. I hope you have your defence ready and are aware of the Friday deadline. In fact I would file it today just to be on the safe side. HB
  4. Hi. The letters are fine to ignore. But if you get any more, especially if they have the heading Letter Before Action/Letter of Claim you need to come back here quickly. If you're not sure if it's a Letter of Claim, come back here and check. HB

  9. Hi. Is this a new parking event or have you posted about it before please? HB
  10. It would help us to advise you if you fill in the sticky that dx100uk posted yesterday, then we can start looking at this. It's also worth sending off an SAR [click on the letters for further information] to Met, so that you have all the information for later. You don't want to be trying to get hold of it in a rush. HB
  11. You're welcome. Lots of people aren't sure where to post when they arrive but you'll get used to the forum. HB
  12. Hello, welcome to CAG. I've moved your thread to our Retail Loss Prevention subforum for further advice. It sounds as if you may get letters from people like DWF solicitors or a company called Retail Loss Prevention but we always recommend to ignore them. If the police weren't called on the day you aren't going to hear from them. Ask us any questions you want to and keep in touch but I don't think this will go anywhere. Best, HB

  14. I see they're trying to round up asylum seekers and lock them up for about three months so they can be put on planes to Rwanda. I'm a bit surprised that this is legal.
  15. If it was me I wouldn't give them the information. Has anything on MCOL changed for your case? HB ETA: Are you still at the same address?
