  1. Some of the cases seem to be becoming quite complicated. People have wondered if other witnesses/co-accused might cut deals with the authorities. Witness in Trump Documents Case Changed Lawyers, and Then Testimony - The New York Times WWW.NYTIMES.COM Federal prosecutors described the shift in a court filing that highlighted conflicts of interest in the overlapping legal representation of witnesses...
  2. Hi. If you've been reading VCS threads as recommended, you'll know about sending a 'snotty letter'. Try doing a search here for other people's letters and post up what you plan to send, for comments. HB
  3. To be accurate, Reds, we are a self-help and self-empowerment site. If people try to do their own research on threads here, even if they don't understand everything they gain a better understanding and we can correct any issues. Without people doing this, going to court against a PPC or anyone else is a very challenging experience and cases can be lost because the OP didn't grasp the underlying principles. We can't be at the hearing with you. HB
  4. Hi. You've left the car reg on the photos in your pdf. Could you cover them up please? HB
  5. I'm afraid I've had to hide your post because the pdf shows your real name. Could you edit it and repost please? HB
  6. This is new to me, but I just found this which is a government website. It looks as if you may have had a claimform. The new Civil National Business Centre WWW.LPC-LAW.CO.UK HB
  7. Hello, welcome to CAG. Could you post up the correspondence you've received please, minus your personal details? I'm not clear if you've had a Letter of Claim or a court claim form. We need pdf files, our upload guide with help you if you've not sure how to go about it. Best, HB
  8. We can't predict how TfL are going to view your lettere, we just know what has worked in the past for some people. Normally we would suggest adding something to say that you have bought a season ticket or similar, to show that you will be paying the correct fare. HB
  9. Hello, welcome to CAG. I think your letter isn't a bad first draft but I think it could be too long. We normally suggest that you write it to fit on one side of A4 paper. How long is what you've written please? HB
  10. Hi. Dx is a long-term member of the site team and advises on many legal threads. Nobody here is claiming to have legal qualifications, you would need a solicitor for thar. What he's trying to say is that courts don't award damages for distress. Not all carry-on baggage stays in the cabin, any overspill normally goes in the hold. HB
  11. Hi Craig. You know the drill, we need details of the ticket on the forum sticky template please. Once we see what they've said, we can start to advise you. HB
  12. Excellent, that was exactly my experience. I'm really pleased AgeUK have been able to help you. Please keep us posted about how you get on and if you need any more advice. HB
  13. Hello, welcome to CAG. We have people here who can advise, particularly @Emmzziif she's about. You could also read up on ACAS's website and perhaps the CAB's, to expand your knowledge. ACAS have a helpline but I'm not clear what the standard of advice is these days. Or you could look for an employment lawyer if you can afford the fees. If it was me I would wait to see what people here think first. Please bear with us until people are able to get here. Best, HB
  14. Hello, welcome to CAG. I'm so sorry you're going through all of this. Some of us here have also had the experience of parents developing dementia, having falls and so on. One of the best things I did was to contact the local AgeUK to my mother. They understand the system very well and in my case, put me directly in touch with the relevant organisation. At the very least they should be able to answer your questions about the system. You could also look at their website which is very informative. I expect more people will pop in with their thoughts. Best, HB
  15. They're saying you didn't pay and from what we've seen before, they may not care about the machine being broken. I expect you can use this to your advantage later. HB
  16. If you still want to travel (have you had confirmation that you're fit to yet?), you may need to split this into the court claim and the SAR issue. My understanding is you're still waiting for them to decide if they accept your offer of £35? HB
  17. Even The Spectator thinks the Tory party is losing it. The Tories are heading for electoral evisceration | The Spectator WWW.SPECTATOR.CO.UK ‘Whoever wins in September, the party will be stuck. Even in power it remains incapable of generating and delivering credible policies, incapable of using...
  18. Apologies, I should have read the thread title properly. I've moved you to the private parking forum. Please let us have the information requested in the forum sticky and we'll take it from there. HB
  19. Hello, welcome to CAG. Please don't appeal, it could cause you untold trouble. ETA: Actually, is this a ticket from the council or a private parking company please? Then I'll move your thread to the right forum for further advice. HB
