well up to know the solicitors letter has not turned up lol and she still hasnt managed to get hold of her contract off her so called friend, ALSO shes getting every excuse or even being ignored or struggling to get hold of the owner in regards to her 3 days wages of 24 hours + , first time she attempted to contact them she got told that no one had been paid due to the owner struggling to get hold of her accountant to find out how much everyone should be payed , joke company it seems tbh , well worth steering clear of it seems ............where would the best place be to go to try and get her wages shes entitled to , because the owners mobile wont accept texts off my partners phone for some reason lol

ok right heres the rest of the info as promised : after my partner went to the cabin to see someone else working there, she was suprised but asked the person running it that day , "can u get the owner to ring me please to see where i stand with this" , and apparently the person who ran it that day , went running bk to the owner of it and cried wolf claiming my partner wouldnt stop questioning her , so later that day , my partner found out off her friend the franchisee that she had been sacked because of what had happened that day at the cabin , so my partner was left abit bemused over this , she wondered what to do next , a couple of days later she received a call of her friend the franchisee , offering her a part time job bk at this cabin , but now instead of working for her friend anymore , she was know working for the company owner , so everything seemed to go ok , but my partner wasnt sure what to make of the working conditions , as she was told to be on her feet for the whole shift , from roughly 10am to 6pm , there was also no heating for this cabin , and in all fairness the pines in mcarthur glen can be like a wind tunnel somedays , she would sometimes have to wear 2 sets of pants to keep her warm , and because she was working there 8 hours, she didnt get any breaks, she was advised if she needed the toilet , close the main door and run to the toilet and come bk asap , but she bided her time and carried on working there , my partner a couple of times went to the shop in cardiff and often heard the owner slagging off and putting down me and her friend the franchisee's partner for sticking their noses in , ( isnt that verbal slander towards me as well ?) my partner then mentioned " yes i do tell my partner how my days been its my right to " , so then a couple of days passed and then i receive a call off the owner regarding this thread, in her words it sounded like " remove that thread or im taking you to court " i courtesly hung up on her as her voice goes through me as it is . she then rings my partner and says "you and your boyfriend have done gross misconduct to my company by talking about my company on here i will see you in court ". at this time my partner had just finished her shift and had handed her friend the takings and the keys for the business for that day , only to receive a letter of her friend the franchisee, saying you have been fired for gross misconduct towards the company , BUT the name of the company on this letter was her friends franchisee not the owner of the company in cardiff, and she had had her 2 warnings b4 , which apparently were the following : 1) questioning the assistant running the shop that day ,when she walked past (but bear in mind she had been sacked for that previously and rehired after)can she be done twice for this lol 2) because I mentioned the companies name in here not my partner , So where do i stand in my next move,my partner only worked there for 1 month on and off but in that time she has been pushed from pillar to post with this little company , and caused her stress and financial worry , can she take action against these for unfair dismissal ? even over the short amount of time she has been their ? any help would be appreciated ty

ty hahaha apparently the owners solicitor is sending me a letter of some sorts and shes claiming because i used her name in this thread its slanderous , but i have ammo enough if it to take her on in court , and i will be updating this thread later with all info regarding working conditions and how slanderous the owner of this company was b4 i started to retaliate on here

hi there just a bit of advice im looking for regarding this cupcake company , my partner started working for them a few weeks ago , and they already have an established shop in cardiff , about 4 weeks ago a friend of ours had bought into the franchise and had become a franchisee , so they ended up having a little wooden cabin in mcarthur glen in bridgend , to cut a long story short , my partner started working there with her friend( the franchisee) and business was really slow , they were selling cupcakes everyday. the days were slow at the start of the week and somedays they would struggle to sell more than other days. eventually it came to the point where the owner of this sugarswirlz knew that my partners friend was struggling and offered her the job in her established shop in cardiff, but told my partner she would be running the cabin in bridgend , the day after this was decided my partner went down to the cardiff shop to pick stock up for that days running , and got told by the owner " im not opening up today u might as well have the day off" my partner took the day off and later that day also found out that n-oone knew what the future held with that cabin in bridgend , my partner happened to go to the cabin in bridgend today just to see if it was open , amazingly its been transformed and reopened in 24 hours , and now my partner does not know whether shes coming or going , IF she has been sacked or laid off DOES she have any rights to unfair dismissal ? she started off doing 48 hour week for under £250 then her hours gradually dropped week by week , we just dont know what to do next any suggestions ? any help would be appreciated ty

in regards to nintendo wiis and consoles like xboxes you could always try buying them off groups on facebook , just type in the search bar "items for sale (then type in your area) and see what comes up , i have seen them 2 days b4 xmas going for about 70-80 quid lol and many more bargains to be had as well

i unfortunatley used to work for them call centres u are refering to lol , basically what happens is when u put ur number in it allows talk talk the opportunity to ring u , the same as if u go on a website and tick one of the little boxes at the bottom of the page , that also allows marketing companies to call you , because your letting them bypass the tps guildelines, for instance when i started training with them they suggested we put our own numbers in so we could see how the system works lol, it then generated for talk talk themselves to ring me 11 times over the space of a week lol , even though i worked for them and 99% of the time the calls to my phone were coming from the office i was in , i still couldnt stop it , and yes it was very annoying lol.But in regards to your concerns im afraid you dont have much grounds for a complaint as you willingly put in your number for them to start calling you sorry but if they call you again what u could say is i am 2 months into a contract with another supplier and im tied in for another 10 months at least sorry , and then the calls should stop ..

hi all , just a quick heads up about virgin media , i have just signed up with them after i moved into my new property , and i had all the usual spam via my email box and my letterbox about welcome to virgin , but because im in a private rental property , my landlord had left the sky bb package in , incase i wanted it , and i dont rate sky bb so i decided to change , i called virgin who said i would have it all up and running by 22nd november, so i used my sky one till then, but when i signed up with virgin they told me theres a chance i might get a new number , which i said fair enough , so on the 22nd a bt engineer come round and explained that they would go to the connection box down my street and change it over , i said fair enough , he then told me my internet would be on shortly , its now 3 days later and my internets not on , i contact virgin on the 23rd and asked where my internet is , and they claimed there may be a fault , and also explained that they will send an email to engineers and it takes 5 days to get a response , so know im waiting till middle of next week for them to sort it , so i buy a dongle in the meantime , but in my discussions with virgin i get irate as there customer service is dreadfull, they ask if i wish to have my mac code instead , i explained they had me over a barrel , as i either wait till middle of next week for them to get round to fixing it , or i go with sumone else and wait 14 days +, by this time i was getting really annoyed , so i ask for my mac code , they then tell me it will be in my email box in 5 days , i explain to them they are really funny , knowing i have no internet to be able to get it , they then tell me i can ring up and get it in 24 hours , so i said fair enough and hung up , i then ring bk 10 mins later to speak to tech support , and they explain because i have asked for my mac code , virgin are gonna cut off all off my services in 4 hours ( which would have been midnight last night) ARE THEY ALLOWED TO DO THAT ?? so with that threat i said no just fix it , know i feel as if im being held at ransom by virgin , and also just out of curiosity i rang my old number i had with sky , and it was still working , even though virgin had supposidly taken over my line , they had not contacted sky to let them know either, so by the looks of it im gonna be billed by 2 companies for my line rental and internet is that allowed ? are virgin allowed to disconnect my services once they find out im moving to another supplier (because they tried this stunt b4 with me )? because if not , and they do do that , have i got any rights to complain to ofcom about there codes of practice ? cheers badboy09

but there were 2 different garages that gave me the same advice , and i seeked a 2nd opinion and it was confirmed that the original diagnosis was correct and it did indeed need brakes and disks asap..but i can see where ur coming from with kwik fit and there overpricing and need for work to be done , but when they took the car apart to get to the brakes i could see for myself the extent of the damage close up ,im no mechanic myself but common sense would tell me they shouldnt have been in the condition they were in ...

right there was no pads or brakes on the car , the metal shoe was rubbing against the brake disk because it had indentations on the disks where the car had tried to stop and are disks not ment to be smooth ? it had no brake pad it had worn that think it had fallen out ....

hi there all just a quick issue i need sorting but dont know which direction to go in so im looking for some advice so here is the problem: I recently (past 2 days) bought a car off ebay , and the car had a couple of issues , which was all fine and i still decided to buy it , but the problem seemed to arise after i got the car home , the lady i bought it off said there was a little issue with the brakes and she claimed it was just abit of grinding , now i dont have any knowledge of cars so i wouldnt have a clue about this sort of problem, any way i took the car to a well known garage to have checked out and found out the car had no brakes and disks what so ever, which then sent me back 190 pounds to fix , know i told the lady i bought it off about this problem and how much it had cost me and tbh she was very apologetic BUT this is where the problem arose , the car has just gone through an MOT in the last 4 weeks , and the garage that did it passed it with flying colours , and only did an advisory on the brakes!!!! between the car having the mot and me buying it was a matter of 4 weeks and about 200 miles roughly , now the garage i took it to (kwik fit) told me that the car should never ever have passed an mot with that brake problem, and they would have failed it there and then............ so my problem is this : where do i stand in regards to taking legal action against this other garage that passed the mot on this car with flying colours ? the main reason i had the car was to go back and forth to pick my kids up to bring them to mine for the weekend and holidays and god forbid if anything had happened whilst they were in the car , so i need some advice on what to do next ? ty for reading badboy09

just a quick update , i spoke to the person i emailed and they had it all sorted out and even credited me with 175.00 so my bill was payed by them , cant fault them they made a mistake and they honoured it by going to the top and sorting it , so ty for ur help on here everyone badboy09
