hi there , this is a local authority issued parking fine , i dont have a vehicle as neither of us drive at the moment , and yes the debt is in my wife's name , they issued a ticket when my wife had a car , and it was parked right outside our house at the time , i spoke to excel on the phone , and at the time they wanted evidence off my wife , which i could not provide as she was in hospital . when i explained that she was now out of hospital and recovering , they said , the only thing they said i could do is speak to the bailiff, but since i left this message , i have spoken to the bailiff, who explained the warrant he has runs out in december , so technically i have till december to pay it , i originally offered £50 a month , but he said it needs to be payed off by december and at that rate it wouldn't , as the debt is now £402.00 , i had to put it up to double what i can afford to £100 a month , and he then said , for us to put this in place , i would need to come in and do some sort of form that means he can write down whats in my property , so if i fail to pay he has a right to come in and take stuff , but when he arrived at the door i told him he ain't coming in , so he then cancelled that £100 per month , and said it would need to be paid by the 7th september now !! all of it !

the only real thing i dispute is the fact they are point blank refusing to accept a payment plan , and want full payment of £402 , which is gonna be a struggle as we are on benefits at moment , whilst wife recovers from surgery

thats their website http://www.excelenforcement.co.uk/ it is a council parking fine , but excel have said that it dont matter now as the bailiff or enforcement officer dealing with it , has the last word now , but i will contact the council , but im not 100% sure they will just brush it under the carpet as well

how would i go about esculating it , as i always get the brush off when ever i enquire about it

the council as always brush it off , once they find out its gone over to the enforcement agents , they always tell you , its out of our hands , and basically want nothing to do with it

i just had an enforcement /bailiff officer come to my door this morning ,in regards to a parking ticket issued by the council some time ago ,, my wife had got a bit behind with making payments as her memory isn't all that great on this fine , and 2 weeks ago she went into hospital for major brain surgery , and i rang excel civil enforcement to make them aware that my wife would be in hospital for the next week or so , and once shes back home and recovered she would ring them , she can out of hospital YESTERDAY , and low and behold THIS morning an enforcement officer turned up demanding £400 , my wife answered the door , and he told her he would be back on the 28th for full payment , the original payment was £167 , and now its £402 . she explained she had just come out of hospital and and that she was on benefits , and he told her it's not his problem and he left leaving her no documentation to say he had even been !! , i wake up and find out , and i ring excel civil enforcement , and they tell me i need to speak to the enforcement officer as its his job now , and not the actual office who dealt it out , so i ring him , and his attitude is " i don't care" he tells me wife when he comes back on the 28th , with a warrant to enter the property and take goods , can he do that ? because i certainly am not gonna let him through the front door !!

yes it is , the council is bridgend county council , i have not spoken to the council in regards to them questions but i can do that first thing in the morning , and get the answers

i am not sure if they are part of the marston group , and i dont ever recall the council taking this to court , to get the judgment against me

i dont think its ever been to court , the council department , just send the debt over to swift and let them deal with it , i dont recall it ever going to court in the first place but i think u could be right its bailiffs but this debt has been in place over a year and half , and i was paying it , until january when this bailiff turned up

hi all long time no chat , Back again with another problem , i hope you can give me some good advice with http://www.swiftcredit.co.uk/ , i currently have 2 accounts with swift ( 1 in my wifes name and one in mine , i deal with both) and every month i pay £35 off both accounts ... This all started back in january 2015 , when an enforcement officer came to my house , i had been paying them every month as usual , but i had missed decembers payment as my wife was having head surgery , and they were not at the top of my mindset at the time , in january this enforcement officer come round , i asked him why he was knocking on my door ? and his answer was : he was told to come round as i had not made any payments towards one of the accounts in question , i explained i had and he told me to contact the office because he was still charging me these fees : my so called arrears of £688.87 compliance fee £75.00 ( remove it please) enforcement cost £ 235.00 ( remove this also ) total due £998.87 ( THIS IS NOT HAPPENING ) i rang them and they told me they would get back to me once they had looked into it , i emailed them every month for the next 6 months and the only correspondence i received was 2 letters telling me , they were looking into my complaint !! every month i had emailed them asking them if they had removed these fees , as the officer was sent out in error , and i got no reply , today i received an email telling me they are not removing the fees !!! i rang them up and explained the problem to them , they contradicted themselves by telling me , they saw that i had been making payments on each account , i asked why they had sent the enforcement officer round if this was not the case , and they now all of a sudden tell me , it was because of the month i missed , even though the officer came round on the day , told me he wasn't there for that reason at all !! it seems like they are clearly trying to defraud , i contacted my council back , and they refuse to do anything , and im now demanding they take me to court for it , any suggestions on next plan of action ?? cheers in advance

ahh , they claim even though they will have the tv back , that they cant sell it on , ( which i think is rubbish ) and also claim that they will send me a liability order letter telling me how much i would still owe on the tv , because i signed a contract for it , im not gonna let the guy in my house , im just gonna pass him the tv at the door , and tell him if he wants to sign up me a contract for the xbox , then so be it , but i somehow think he will decline , but if for any reason it goes to court , i can alt least say i did offer to pay for the xbox , just not the tv ...the owner steve back ( if thats what hes really called ,was the most arrogant imbecile i have ever known) he belittled me and told me he was glad i was ending business with him , because he prefers customers not like me , which amused me as i have been the perfect customer for the past 12 months or so lol and good idea bankfodder i will do just that ...

hi all , just a quick question , i have finance with a company called http://www.familyvision.ltd.uk/contact_us.html , i have a tv and an xbox one with them , i have told them after falling out with them , i want one of the products sent bk , i got a tv at first , then an xbox last xmas for my son , i told them i want to send the tv back and still pay for the xbox , but they have told me no u cant we will have to have both items back , i said its not possible , apparently a managers coming round on tuesday to discuss this , as i will be held for a liability order , i have never missed a payment in the yr i have been with them either , i ended up speaking to the director of the company a mr black apparently , who was totally arrogant , had a complete cocky attitude and couldnt disrespect me enough on the phone , but my question is , if they took 1 half of the items back and they didnt have the other what can they do ? after all i have offered to keep paying the xbox , but they are refusing it , im cancelling my standing order with them as we speak , i would just like to know where i stand , if they come round take the tv and cant take the xbox as its with my son in another part of the uk . .. thanx in advance

sorry if this is in the wrong section , i scoured the site trying to figure out which section it should be in , if its in the wrong one , can you please put it in the right one , thankyou . hi there all ,just a quick question i need to ask , but i will give u a little outline of what its about first , i have just had a successfull case in court , in regards to a historic child abuse i suffered as a child , and it took me 27 yrs to bring it to court , and now my stepfather has been found guilty of 6 counts , and hes looking at spending the next 5-10 yrs in prison , and i was advised to put in a compensation claim via the criminal injuries board , but i have read there website and it seems that because i served a 8 month prison sentance in 2010 , ( but only did 2 months and was then out on tag ) , it now seems that i fail to qualify for the criminal injuries that happened to me as a child , is there any way round this , or am i just gonna hit a brick wall ,? it seems unfair that , that is the way they deal with cases , just because i did something silly in 2010 , its now punishing me form maknig a claim , because of that ..i would try and claim against my stepdad , but i know he has nothing , by what i have been told , and criminal injuries was my next stop, the reason i have come to this conclusion is because of the paragraph below , : The 2012 scheme came into force on 30 September 2012 and applies to all claims received on or after 27 November 2012. got some sort of resolution kwik fit have refunded and just got to wait a few days for it to go bk in

they are stil refusing to do anything they keep telling me that i have to wait for kwikfit to show up as a transaction on my statement b4 they can open a dispute that takes 5 days to sort out , leaving me high and dry over xmas

they are claiming that because the money has not left my account yet and its not shown up as a transaction they wont refund !!!!
