aww ojustlooking gone are the days when you could just send your paper licence and get the address changed, passports were cheap in those days, its gonna cost me £51 just to change my address on the passport and renew it as well. anyway snippet of news i've just rang my electoral services and they can confirm that i am on the electoral roll!!!!!!!!!! she said to me that i am the second one she's had to day saying that the credit reference agency says i dont exist, anyway she's going to send me a letter confirming that i am so they can stick that in their pipe and smoke the $&$&$&, if thats the reason i dont know, i have now got to send documents to experian just so they can tell me what they hold about me brain ache or what anyway dont be disillusioned we're going on a holiday with the sun newspaper just to get away from all of it. how do we get on and more to the point how do you go on where do we go from here (i could be breaking out in song!!! but ill spare ya lol) im going to ring the credit people up and speak to them again. and while im in the mood i might ring the natwest up again as well. thanks for your good wishes keep me posted sounds like we got similiar problems good luck -

ok people im not at all happy or confident to take them to court without knowing that they have in fact received the letter before action, ive been mulling this over for several days, and not being confident as nothing ever goes right for me, I can just see me going to court and the judge saying you didnt send them a letter before action, you have internet access so why didnt you check beforehand! I have rang the royal mail twice now and it still hasnt been delivered i check on their website everyday and it still hasnt been delivered I would feel better if i contacted them to find out whether they have received it or not. but then i suppose that would give them more time as they would probably lie and say that they didnt receive it. if the recorded item is not signed for i have no concrete proof. I would like to email them with the letter before action pasted on the actual email so there will be no attachments. and saying that their time runs out today. does it state anywhere that proof of postage is proof of delivery im sorry if you lovely people think i am being stupid, I just need to be confident enough that this wont go against me. I know you have told me that it will be ok, im just not so sure. signed from a very not confident blinky (who nothing ever goes right for me) -
unfortunately yes they do, and yes they can, and no they dont give two hoots about it either. it has happened to me its a good idea to open a parachute account if you can, and dont let them get any more of their greedy hands on your money. i think it is illegal, but banks work to their own law and nobody addresses the situation. I have a long story to tell: shortened version though! my dad died i had his insurance money in my account to pay for funeral had ex husband who went bankrupt owed on his halifax visa card, the account was supposed to be in my name and my name only as he had signed his joint right over to me, his name was still on the account, but it was found out that they had received the document to have his name taken off, but failed to action it, so the credit card company decided to take it the funeral money out no notification or anything, i spoke to a solicitor about it and he said they can do it, it is illegal but no one has to my knowlege questioned them about it. eventually it was sorted, i got £300 compensation, should of gone for more really.

I downloaded the basic Xls sheet, I have entered the statement date and amount and reason. But how do i calculate the days since offence. Do i have to count back for every transaction (about 30)? Is there an easier way to work it out? hi vampiress, im sorry if i may be sounding a bit thick here, but i have entered the date of the charge and the charge amount, but the formula just says #NAME? I have the same problem as tim, i thought i had to count back the days from my first date of charges. can you help me please, many thanks
