  1. Welcome have gone too far now. Came home today to find a 'final demand' from Lewis Group. I'm not surprised Palmer didn't want to speak to me last week. Email sent to Lewis, David Postings, my adjudicator and will be reporting to the OFT and TS tomorrow. Really ****ed off now!
  2. The Lewis Group are a part of Cattles, the parent company of Welcome. I received a letter from them today as well. I currently have an official complaint with the FOS and have a complaint about PPI. They'll hear me tomorrow!
  3. I'll keep you posted. WFS are outwith the 8 week timescale for resolution of my PPI claim now, so that's being added as well.
  4. My complaint is about the Acceptance Fee and PPI mis-selling.
  5. Made my complaint in Feb (I think) and had an adjudicator since 14th May. She hasn't went into any detail as to why she feels it should be passed on.
  6. Bit of an update. Received an email from my adjudicator saying that it is being passed onto a more specialist team. I wonder what's going on.....
  7. If you didn't set up a third party access to your account with O2, then you may have cause to complain, however, if you're son pretended to be you, they may count that as fraud, so you should check with him regarding that. Regarding 3, you should write to them asking for all paperwork, as it sounds a bit dodgy that they never sent any documentation to you.
  8. Good! I'm no further forward with Welcome and in fact, today is 8 weeks since I made a complaint about PPI mis-selling. I've emailed Palmer to remind him of this, but it looks as though I'll be adding more to my complaint with the FOS.
  9. The whole problem here is that you allowed a teenager a contract phone, although I'm sure you know this so I'm not going to lecture you. I'm not certain of O2's procedures, but I wouldn't have thought your son would be allowed to change account details without the contract owner's permission. Did you set up a password on the account that allowed a third party to change details? I was a bit confused about what you said about 3. Did 3 contact your son to start a new contract with them?
  10. Ignore the branch completely and complain to the Compliance dept. Advise them that you are being threatened with all this; give them the person's name and demand that they sort this or you will report them for harrassment. Their address is: Freepost RLUU-ERRT-XKLR Welcome Finance Compliance Services Mere Way Ruddington Nottingham NG11 6NZ I don't have time to read all your posts yet. Have you made a claim for PPI?
  11. I think there's a bus users' council that you can complain to about Arriva.
  12. This was reported on Tonight programme this week. 2 men refused to accept the new contract and were sacked in the end. The advice given was that they would be able to take the company to an employment tribunal for 'unfair dismissal'. That might be the route he'll have to take if he doesn't accept the new contract.
  13. MH are full of hot air. If they call again, take their name and advise you know of them currently being under investigation and that you'll add this threat to it.
  14. Compliance is in Nottingham, I think the customer service centre is in Batley.
  15. There is no certainty in this, but some members of MSE have got out of their contract due to this change, although they've had some amount of work to do in getting it done.
  16. Telogram is a part of Capquest, who've broken OFT guidelines by asking you to get money from other people - you should also make a complaint to the OFT about this. Above all, make sure you cancel the direct debit.
  17. I'm aware that they're not related, however, I'm also aware that Apple dictate a lot of the terms to O2 in relation to tariffs and costs etc so they should match the warranty lifetime with the time they expect customers to be using their handsets.
  18. Yes you can. Just send a letter asking for them to be returned plus 8% interest (court would award), ask them that unless they can prove it costs the company £10 for a letter and phone call etc, you would like it all returned.
  19. I've never understood the 12 month warranty with the iPhone, considering contract customers are stuck with it for 18 months.
  20. When did you apply under hardship?
  21. This is Welcome's standard response. I got this last week and I ripped up the questionnaire and sent another letter advising them that they should be aware of how and where it was purchased etc. I gave them a further 14 days to give a satisfactory response or I'll forward it to the FOS. They have 7 days left
  22. It would be classed as an income, but if it's your only income you would need to have your income and expenditure re-assessed to lower repayments.
  23. Hi Rob The capitalisation is a mixture of interest and charges. If you've been charged, you'll see Capitalisation immediately above that. The outside call fee is for doorstep visits. I'm not sure what the ad-hoc fees are or the fee assessments, hopefully someone else will be here soon to advise. Are you reclaiming charges?
