Lloyds: New Claim - Quick Question!

Hi there, I requested my statements from lloyds to enable me to reclaim my charges and this morning I received details from Lloyds of the list of charges I have incurred over the last 6 years, which is fine. However, within the list they have included o/draft interest as a charge, am I right in thinking that we can't claim this back?

The short answer is no. You can only claim OD interest that relates to your penalty charges, not general OD interest. But in order to separate this out you need to know the balance of your a/c at the time that each charge was incurred, and with just a list of charges, you can't do that.

That's right, nor can you try and reclaim the monthly agreed account fees; it is only the charges for going overdrawn or returning items unpaid that are in dispute.
