Very best of luck Tom!!

Any advice given by me is based solely on my experience in claiming, my experience in CAG or my opinion. I have no legal background. I want to encourage others to reclaim what is theirs.

Got a DCA breaking OFT guidance. Complain to the OFT about the DCA. Help put an end to these practices-

Thanks again, and well done Parkvale for getting your money back!

We are still waiting for a date on which the judgment will be handed down. The judge only returned from his holidays yesterday, so I'm not expecting any decision for another 2 to 4 weeks.

Best wishes to all,

Tom Brennan

Tom thats me .If you wish to use this claim for any reason please do. Good luck.

Parkvale - well done to you and your wife!!

What a lovely story - so glad you won this money back!!

It's amazing how many people were affected by this Foot & Mouth stuff isn't it?

I know from personal experience how easily these Banking and Credit Card companies took what little people had through this Foot & Mouth stuff. My own family suffered through this stuff too despite having all the relevant insurances etc.. these companies worked at making these policies void through bouncing DD's etc.. A real trauma really - and I am sure we wasn't the only family that went through it either.

But - I am going after each and everyone of these leech like companies and am going to get back what was ours!!

It is not widely reported but the Financial Ombudsman Service has proven to be an effective alternative to the courts for me. I claimed £2340 from Alliance & Leicester: the bank refused to pay a penny so I complained to the Financial Ombudsman. It took one form and no costs were incurred. Within 6 weeks Alliance & Leicester had offered to settle in full. It is also a nice feeling to know that they had to pay an admin fee to the Financial Ombudsman of £350.00.

Tom had an appeal hearing on the 29th October. The Judge has informed TB, that a judgement on his appeal has been made, and he expects to receive a ''considered judgement''. This was about 2 weeks ago. I have'nt heard anything since.
