Very strange co incidence I too sent my lba today but its gone to Leicester !

Also sent a default request letter to uncle Peter asking whatever happened to my copy of the default notice AND deed of assignment I swear I never recieved a copy and have turned the house upside down looking:rolleyes:

It was 2001 well before the tightening up of the regs regarding default issuing guidelines in 2005.

I do know tho that Barclays are not in the habit (just like russians) of throwing anything away.....all my statements were supplied from fiche as u know.

I hope they have been less cautious ...(ahem cough ) in other matters of document archive.

Defence received, seems pretty standard to me though. Interestingly on the Money Claim site it has it logged as 1/8/06 and they actually only acknowledged the summons on the 3rd August 06. Maybe someone has entered 1/8 when it should be 1/9/06.....anyone else had this happen? and does it mean anything?

I had a similar thing happen. Barclays acknowledged at the last minute on 30th August, yet it now shows on MCOL as Defence 28/7/06 which happens to be the date the claim was issued. I'm sure as it's the same in both cases it must be quite normal.

Have you heard anything since? and have you filled in the AQ yet? you are a few days ahead of me in the timeline on this with Barclays.

No I haven't Chris. Funds are a bit short at the moment with all these claims going on so I'm finding it hard to stump up the £100. The last thing I need is to send a cheque to the court for it to then bounce and be back to square one again! My AQ has to be in by 19th Sept and I get paid the day after, so I think I'll be putting mine in at the last minute. The only other possibility is I have a claim with Nationwide drawing near to its conclusion (going on other people's results with the NW) so I'm hopeful I may I receive some money from them in the next few days to help fund my Barclays/Woolwich claim.

I am just sending mine off today, the £100 fee is only if your claim is over £1500.00 just thought I would mention it in case you were not sure. Mine is around £1000 so there is no fee? don't really understand why this is but I am not complaining.

Called the courts this morning, they told me the case went before the Judge end of September (my AQ' sent back 8th Sept) and they are waiting a Judges decision.

She told me there are so many of these cases everything is being delayed and it could be another 2-3 weeks before I hear anything at all. :o

Recieved today Notice of Allocation to the Small Claims Track Preliminary Hearing.

The Judge has ordered that a Preliminary Hearing should take place because in his words "special directions are needed in this claim to prepare for the final hearing which the Judge would prefer to explain to me in writing" the preliminary hearing to take place 5th March 2007.

Anyone else had this happen to them. Considering I started this in May it is certainly dragging on? other people seemto be getting theirs sorted out fairly quickly, don't know why this is taking so long, anyone got any ideas apart fromlack of court time due to so many claims
