Me thinks they have been surfing this forum..... they are latching onto the fact that we are all asking for instances where manual intervention has been necessary.....apparently it is necessary every time and by 2 people!!!! :?

 

On a positive note - I am quite encouraged that someone so obviously incompetent is heading up the Banking Industry..... he just dug himself so many holes he is going to have to retrain as a mole to get out of them!!! :lol:

Status:

 

Halifax - DPA sent 03/03/06.

Prelim Letter - Sent 27/03/06 ignored.

LBA sent 10/04/06 - Ignored

Moneyclaim filed - 26.04.06

Acknowledgement received 3rd May. Halifax state they intend to defend.

Halifax Settled in Full - 17 May 2006

he was soooooo close to admitting the charges were a slap on the wrist. I was willing him to say it. Not once was the fact that the charges are actually illegal mentioned.

omg!! I made SUCH a tit of myself!!!!!!!!!

 

I was in this studio upstairs with 10 guys stood there watching me and I thought to myself before hand what I was gonna say and I was gonna finish it with a plug of the bank action group but they interupted!! And then the producer said they only had 2 mins left so I couldn't say anything else!!

 

Pretty gutted really cos they said that if they weren't running behind schedule, I would have been able to ask some questions and get a plug in!!!

 

So sorry for not mentioning the site :( :( :(

 

What did you guys think of what I said, how I looked?!

you were the best interviewed by far, including the bank guy who was talking cr@p!!! The others interviewed just waffled on about irrelevancies so I shouldn't worry if I was you. You came across fine.

and, Dave, he was so close to admitting that these charges were as the interviewer put it, a slap on the wrist. It nearly came out of his mouth. I wish I'd recorded it. I was sitting on the edge of my seat willing him to say it.

IRRELAVANCIES!!! ANY PERSON CONNED BY THIS BANKING SYSTEM IS NOT IRRELAVENT.WHY WEREN'T YOU ON THE T.V. IF YOU THINK YOU COULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES.MR MULLEN WAS NOT PREPARED TO ANSWER THE QUESTIONS ASKED OF HIM ANYWAY,AND IF I WAFFLED ON THAT MUCH IT MAY HAVE BEEN TO MY ADVANTAGE BECAUSE HE IS PERSONALLY GOING TO HELP,AND I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL AFTER THE PROGRAMME.I WASN'T ON TO LOOK GOOD OR BE OK!!! I apoligise if my comment so obviously upset you, and accept that the issues arent irrelevant to you. What I was saying is the issue was about banks charging unfairly, not the events leading up to the charges. We all know why the charges are made. I am very glad that your family are getting the help, and I'm sure he was a very nice man, unfortunately he made some questionable comments which the moderators on this site would have found interesting.
