Remember that letter many of us keep getting from the bank (can't recall which one) where the bank says that the OFT have reported but this is limited only to credit cards?

 

Look at paragraph 1.19 of the OFT's April 2006 statement.

Yes, they're just going by what the media has told them - they did that straight after the announcement.

 

However, it's my guess that they will argue that there has not been sufficient consultation for the OFT to make an informed desicion. Which would be true - the banks refuse to divulge information about how much these breaches 'cost' them.

I disagree. They are not blind. They know exactly what they are doing. They think that they are above the law and that they have a God-given right to steal our money. They are quite prepared to lie, mislead, cheat and play the system to minimise the possibility that their unlawful and immoral conduct will be exposed. They are sh1ts of the first order.

I did a reply to the bank's supposed OFT 'analysis' for another poster a couple of days ago. Once this has had some response or feedback I will post to the forums...don't want to jump the gun :-|

When i said blind, i meant blinkered! I agree they know EXACTLY what they are up to!

 

I love to think head honcho's at the Banks read this stuff on here, they should be runnig scared!:x
