Hi Have been trying to get charges refunded by hsbc sent data protection letter got statements back did next letter where they offered approx half of what we were claiming, sent back letter saying that we would accept as part payment (letter in your template) next thing we know is a letter from METROPOLITAN COLLECTION SERVICES asking for full balance of our account which was overdrawn due to the bankes charges. If the bank had paid up our account would have been £50.00 in credit. Have spoken to DCA who said we would have to sort it out with HSBC as they cannot do anything it is up to hsbc. There last 14 days is up on Thursday 8 February the next step is court proceedings. Dont know which way to go any advice very much appreciated.
