Anyone got Capital One to remove defaults??

Hi

 

I got my letter from Capital One saying the charges weren't unlawful but they were prepared to pay me them back anyway. The only thing being is that they are refusing to take the default off of the account.

 

Surely if they are taking the charges off the default associated with these charges should be taken off also

 

Anyone know any info??

Tell them you want all of your requsets met, if they still say no then make your claim through the courts

How far did you have to go to get the charges back?

 

I'm about to start my court claim and am terrified incase they don't back down!!

I asked for settlement to be lodged when I paid my money - they did, and the default was removed as well.

 

I just checked this on Equifax - I only have one default, which I'm currently fighting - from LPF.

I would like them to reinstate my card so i can pay off the balance monthly as i usually would, even if it means paying interest. I don't mind i would just like my credit restored?

 

Is this what you mean?

 

I took them to court they had until yesterday to reply which they did, yesterday. It's the only way with co they don't seem to budge otherwise.
