In a recent road casualty report, released by the Department for Transport at the end of November, the latest provisional estimates show that reported road casualties for the year ending June 2022 seem to be falling to pre-pandemic trends. Due to lockdowns during 2020 and 2022, the publication compares estimates for the year ending June 2022 with those for the year ending June 2019, which is the most recent equivalent pre-pandemic year.

Most road traffic collisions occur because one driver was negligent — perhaps they were driving too fast, carelessly, or recklessly. Expert legal advice is essential if you have been in a road traffic accident (RTA).

The above post was placed on this forum without any permission by somebody who included a link to Baker's solicitors in Aldershot.

Amongst all the things they seem to specialise in helping people get compensation in respect of road accidents they may have suffered.

I suppose that they are a kind of claims management company and of course they probably take a good chunk of your compensation by way of payment.

Whoever posted this came on to this forum without permission under the auspices of posting helpful information but in fact including links which directed people to the Baker's website.

In other words, they were spamming the Consumer Action Group forum.

You almost never need assistance with claims management. Most of the help you need can be given on this forum and we would certainly advise people never to go to some kind of claims management service which has to spam consumer forums in order to drum up business, although of course it may be that the person who posted this spamming message had nothing to do with this firm of solicitors at all and they are simply the innocent victims of some troll.
