HI,

I paid the congestion charge using my Chase card as per the normal process. The charge came up on the banking app as pending. However, about a week later I received a PCN stating that I owe £80.

After confirming with my bank, it seems that though my back initiated the faster payment process, TFL did not accept the payment within the 7 days. Therefore, the payment is automatically reversed and hence TFL did not receive the payment.

I appealed by sending the card details, the faster payment id and the screen shots from my bank stating that the payment was initiated and that TFL failed to act. However, they rejected the reasons.

How shall i proceed?

Many thanks

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
