The interest rate should be at least the rate they are charging you on the account

The SPO (Suspended Possession Order) remains in place until you have completed the order made by the court. After that you can apply for the SPO to be removed. Much depends on what the SPO was granted for, what the terms were that the court set and whether you have kept to or completed the order made by the court.

Have you not got copies of the documents relating to the court repo hearing i.e. a copy of the court's order?

Your first step would be to approach GE with a request for a refund of the charges and the associated interest.

I have received the 'All charges statement' from GE at last! Im not sure what charges im supposed to include in the spreadhseet, If anyone who knows wouldnt mind letting me know this is what the statement includes;

 

Direct Debit recall charges £20.00 Yes

Administration fee charges £40.00 Yes

Default notice charges £35.00 No....should only be one of these I think?

Solicitor interim legal fees £23.00 No

Solicitor interim legal fees 272.75 No

solicitor interim legal fees £141.00 No

solicitor interim legal fees £120.75 No

Returned cheque fee £25.00 Yes

Valuation fee £45.00 No

I have moved you from the general banking forum to the Mortages forum where you may get some responses given that this is a GE Mortgage.

They would refund the charges and associated interest to the account and reduce the balance due.

 

If they agreed to refund that is.
