(1) The letter was dated the 30th June and I recieved it on Saturday 3rd July.

(2) never heard of them or Cabot financial. Did however have card with MBNA, but no contact or payment made for over years.

(3) with regards a cca request, do I write to Clarity or Cabot. neither of them own the debt.

Going to act totally thick now. What do you mean "canvass of the premises"?

It means they can't tout for business away from "Trade" premises, ie their offices - So they cant send a collector to your house.... well they can, but he's not allowed to discuss credit or accossiated topics with you. (Unless he has his own license and .......wow.... are their implications here with data regulations etc?)

 

Interestingly I have just been a bit cheeky and rung them and told them this. A butch sounding lady told me "Oh we use a different license for visits" so I got it......
