I think that highlights the simple fact that despite Putin cracking down on news and media as hard as he can, there is still massive discontent with Russia invading what many their will see as their relatives and family in Ukraine

 

I mean look how many are influenced by repeatedly demonstrated as false again and again dog whistle headlines fro the Express and Mail (I'll exclude the Sun in that as its readers .. probably can't)

- imagine that x10

 

Depending on the wests response, China will be looking at Taiwan and Indonesia

 

When you also consider that the UAE has undercut the US attempts to mitigate the Russian oil and gas supply problem (and why should they do otherwise as they are allies of Russia and are making craploads more money for the same oil)

- that defines that a migration away from oil and gas into a locally available resource (hydrogen) - not just for domestic supplies but for peak load power stations - must be accelerated.

 

We must break our dependence on ANYONE else (even North sea oil 'owned' by foreign companies)  supplying us with a limited resource that is destroying our planet and HAS become a weapon/stick to beat us with.

 

and Fracking ? - do we really want to doodoo in our own front room?

Water companies are doing that for us already.

especially interesting part is Russia interfering in Iran nuclear deal to its own ends, 

 

Perhaps some other nuclear power (France maybe?) should step into the breach there and bring Iran (and its oil) back into the international fold as the US interests and influence in the middle east seems largely collapsed .... and with Israel seeming more a partner to Russia than the west ..

You know what really gets me?

It that a number of MP's are talking as though once Putin stops bombing, its all over and Putin keeps what hes invaded and everything goes back to 'as it was' with Oligarchs doing what they like buying the Tory party and London properties via shell companies in UK tax havens and all sanctions ended .. and back to buying Russian gas and oil ..
