step change DMP and breathing space....

Have set up a DMP with step change and also got 60 day breathing space

 

Joseph James law are on list of creditors

I advised them I was starting a DMp on 3rd November they replied with sorry no repayments have been made we are now taking it to court

 

I then sent over the breathing space letter

the next day but they advised court action is still going ahead after the 60 days they really are horrid replies .

I've emailed step change but could do with advice if goes to court .

why are you blindly setting up a DMP ?

have you sent all your debt owners a CCA request where the debt is covered by the consumer credit act?

 

what debt/original creditor/debt owner are JJ the clients for?

 

stepchange just like all the dca's will rip you off blind on debts you might not even owe in the 1st place

 

please list all your debts.

Mortimer clarke solicitors (Cabot) for capital one .

 

Joseph James law for claim easy . Ppi 

 

Lowell for vanquis card 

 

bw legal for pay day loan 

 

total around £ 1500.

cap1 sold the debt to cabot-  mortimer are their solicitors - send cabot a CCA request.

 

claim easy - is this for supposed fees when you used them to reclaim PPI? did you win or lose the claim to the original creditor?

 

bw legal are a solicitor they dont buy debts - who are their client please?

 

pers i would CANCEL the plan with stepchange.

do it yourself we'll help - you might not even owe any of these debts when we've finished with them!!

Bw legal is for a pay day loan but there client is prac financial ltd .

 

The Joseph James law was for ppi and had emailed them to stop as I was doing myself and refused to sign the act on my behalf forms

 

they kept sending me X

 

I'm more concerned about Joseph James law ignoring the DMP and they're very rude emails saying tough the court papers stand and after 60 days breathing space will send enforcement officers round .

thought it might be prac, usual culprits. i will guess that when the original creditor gave you the PDL, your credit file was shot with lots of defaults and later payments on other lending?

 

as for JJ please IGNORE THEIR EMAILS.

if you read them PROPERLY they dont say will anything every word but!!

 

post them up here lets have a good laugh at them.

 

you seriously need to NOT do that DMP just forget about stepchange

you seem to be rather green concerning debt and DCA's and solicitors and these scamming claim management companies

 

a dca is NOT A BAILIFF an

and has ZERO legal powers on ANY DEBT

no matter what its type.
