Anyone else on here using Linux on their daily use PC?

Which Distro and why?

I stopped using using Windows 10 last September and use 100% Linux Mint now. I have found it can do as much, if not more, than MS Windows and is much more slick and secure.

44 years at the pointy end of the motor trade.

GARUDALINUX.ORG

Garuda Linux comes with a variety of desktop environments like KDE, GNOME, Cinnamon, XFCE, LXQt-kwin, Wayfire, Qtile, i3wm and Sway to choose from.

I used Linux a while back on a pc with dual boot Windows/ Linux set up, and it was OK.

Have been sticking to windows on my pc's as none of the games I play and a lot of software won't work on anything else !

New version of Windows due later this year due too...

I have used Linux since about 2008.

Nowadays I use Mint running on a Toshiba laptop and a Leonovo laptop.

Browsers installed and used are Brave, Chrome and firefox.

email isThunderbird

Office is Libre office.

works great.  No antivirus needed, no disk defrag needed.  Starts and runs fast and stable.
