I have an urgent need for help.

Longhurst group have started work on the adjoining property this morning without a party wall agreement in place. The contractors are basically saying 'f you' after being informed of this and because it's a weekend, I can't reach anyone.

Basically, I got a letter from Longhurst a week ago dated 23rd oct... they're supposed to give 1-2 months notice of intended works. This letter states they will not start work without written consent. and I've read up on the party wall act.

I immediately replied on the 25th Oct stating that I would not give consent until conditions were met, because they have broken every single agreement in the past, damaged property and refused/failed to repair it.

On the 27th Oct, they installed scaffolding, on the 28th they delivered skips and roofing materials... and today the 31st they started work.

I have literally been told by those contractors to 'f off' and that they're going to be removing part of my roof to do that one. They were made fully aware that there was no party wall agreement in place before they started work this morning.

I don't know what to do...
