My wife started a plan with this firm at the Beginning of the year, (Three lions chambers).

I started doing a little checking after her direct debit for £85 was cancelled.

She is supposed to pay for up to two years in which time they look for ways to reduce her debt by 85 to 90% of the total.

On another post on this site it says their barrister and part owner has resigned from companies house.

Companies house still has him as a director.

His name is Ray Austin Williams.

Can anyone say if this is a genuine company that has had any success in what they offering?

My concern is that this is some sort of spoof and we has just wasted several months of money which we can ill afford.

This is where I hope you guys can help.

What do I need to post here to get some real advice on how to sort out the mess we are in?

Be gentle please, best wishes  Pieman

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

PRA /LLoyds - I seriously doubt its been sold several times - you just dont understand who's group various DCA's belong too - send PRA a CCA request.

arvato - have your received a notice of assignment or does the letter simply say their client is Barclays bank.??

as for all the rest

send them our pro rata letter from the debt collection section of our library.
