hello, i had a mortgage with The Mortgage Corporation from 1989 to 1994 and think i may have been missold ppi by them.

who has had success claiming from them please?

how did you do it?

who did you complain to?

what was the outcome.

thanks for any help you can give!

>in another thread from three years ago on this topic someone wrote some comments below.

i dont know the outcome and have just messaged them requesting an update and any helpful comments or advice they can give.

cheers. here are those comments:

"Re. The mortgage Company ...our 'payment protection plan' certificate sold as a ' Loyalty bonus!', and it's under written by:-

Cassidy Davis Underwriting Ltd at Lloyds of London...I have just rang Lloyds PPI line and they have taken our claim which is from 1992 - 1998,

I thought they were the best option rather than chasing 'The MortgageCorporation "

THANKS

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Thanks. That’s info I didn’t know. I have filed the claim. How do you know the underwriters became part of Lloyds? And by lloyds I presume you mean the banking group rather than Lloyd’s of London. Would be handy to have some evidence of that. Cheers :)

well that's why you've started the claim.

Lloyds appear to be indicating they are responsible for the pearl group who inherited the mortgage corps through that chain listed

why would Lloyds specially put a link to them otherwise

see where it leads
