but yesterday I got a parking ticket by Gemini on my motorbike for parking exactly at the same spot than you did.

I am curious to know what happened and what I should do.

So I literally ignored it.

 

There has been no comeback at all. I never heard from them again.

 

I ignored it and today I got a letter 'Overdue Parking Charge', saying they requested details from DVLA and amount due has raised to £100.

What can I do?

Hi there,

 

I received a parking charge by Gemini parking solutions a while back, in exactly the same circumstances than other post on this forum.

The advice was to ignore it and since I've had two more notices one by Gemini and the last one saying I have a parking charge of £160 but this time the letter is from DRP (Debt Recovery Plus Ltd), giving until the 04/01/19 to pay or they'll recommend to take court action against me.

What's the best option?

They are not bailiffs

And have ZERO LEGAL powers

What would happen if I don't take action?

Nothing would happen. Debt Recovery Plus have no interest in the debt. They have as much power to take you to court as the bit of left-over pizza from my meal last night that I'm looking at as i type. They're paper tigers.

you always ignore anything ftrom a dca. Ask yourself why they are now demanding £160 when it is against the law for them to add fees to the debt. they do so because they rely on ignorance to earn themselves a few quid and hope that you think a dca is the same as a bailiff.

I have received another letter saying they are recommending their client to take court action, and they give two options to settle out of court:

-give extra time to pay up to 08/02/19

-let me pay by instalments (option only available until 08/02/2019)

 

Are there any chances Gemini would take action? It says is 'their client's final offer to settle the matter'

until/unless you get a letter of/before claim from one of their favourite paperwork only fake/tame solicitors you can ignore everything else

so you havet read a single thread about Debt recovery plus? that means you ahvent read other thread about private parking either.

 

Now read loads and loads of threads and you will get to undersand how the paring co's work and how the law works and that they are not the same.

 

We will have difficulty helping you if you dont help yourself.
