Ok I have been in contact with the OFT.

Citi filed a notice of change to their address in August.But were still active in Saford until October-even possibly later.

I am in reciept of a reply to correspondence from Citi dated 0ctober 1st 2008-from the Salford Office.

Proof that they were still there then.

If anyone wants a copy with authorisation to use it,based on evidence against Citi claiming they did not get communications there,then pm me.

Its possible even months down the road they will try to spring this one.

Thanks for the reply. However, I thought you couldn't send a recorded letter to a PO Box, which I why I was looking for a standard address so I could have proof of receipt.

Do you know if this is correct or is it possible to send by recorded mail to a PO Box address?

I would send to Canary wharf address since its still current.....if you try anything outside their HO its likely to see all the stalling tacs we have seen since 2006.

Egg's registered office is still listed as 33 Canada Square-which is Citi Financial/Citibank.

 

Given the stalling,and well known non compliance from Citi in the past,CAG suggests that all correspondence is done via their Canada Square offices,irrespective of where they may dictate.

If they want to re-route internally from there,then thats up to them.

But service of legal docs needs to be going to their reg office,and a SAR can be counted as a legal doc.

 

There is absolutely no need to be using PO box numbers-when full addresses are available.
