I have paid link financial and Capital one in full nearly 4 years ago.

im trying to get a mortgage and as you can imagine the computer said no.

one of the defaults is on twice as it was related MBNA sold my debt to Cougar which then became Link.

I want to pay MBNA in full and refused to pay Link.

when it was settled in full all three have defaulted my Experian.

Experian will do nothing about it.

how can I get these removed ??

I feel its against my civil rights and they are restricting me from obtaining a mortgage.

Hi and welcome to CAG

I feel we need more info to be able to help. Were the defaults legitimately placed? Did you dispute any of the debts at the time? What dates are on the defaults?

If you are asked to deal with any matter via private message, PLEASE report it.

Everything I say is opinion only. If you are unsure on any comment made, you should see a qualified solicitor

Each default relating to a separate debt, will be logged onto your credit file and will stay there for six years. If it was settled then it should be marked "settled". However, your chances of getting them removed before the end of six years is pretty well zero.

If there is a duplicate entry then clearly it shouldn't be there.

I gather from your first post that there are two individual entries and one of them has been duplicated which equals three entries in all. Is that correct?

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

2 defaults on the same debt makes no odds really

as long as the defaulted date that the original creditor placed on their entry is not changed on the entry by the fleecing no powers dca

hence they drop off at the same time
