Hi,

barclays have contacted me and offered me £1600 in a refund from ppi between 2001 and 2006.

Great.

However i declared myself bankrupt in 2002.

I was discharged in 2007 after 5 years.

have said the cheque will be made out to the OR unless I can notify them otherwise.

since it was so long ago and barclays was not subject to any debt from me.

Is there anyway I can keep this.

I think 10 years on it would be nice to have the money.

After all I paid it in.

Please help and advise I've only got a few days.

Thanks

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hi,

Sorry but Barclays are correct in this, because you were discharged in 2007, any ppi claims will go to your Official Receiver and the sum of £1,600 would be distributed to your then creditors.

I know that the £1,600 would have been nice.

Wish I had that sort of attitude.
