The short answer is no.

If it were discovered that it was not the xbox you purchased you could then be liable for fraud.

Have you spoken to their store manager about removing all the osc/dlc or 5* cover that you were no doubt forced to take?

you don't!

there are not rules whatsoever that dictate you must have HP goods insured

its solely their business model to make the whole thing a good money spinner.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Maggie you dont need the insurance, even if you had your own insurance it would not cover the xbox if its not in your possession anymore.

The OSC is OPTIONAL service cover and is covered under the consumer rights act 2015 or SOGA

The DLC is damage liability cover which, if you had contents cover would have to extend to goods on hp.

Neither cover is needed, its throwing money away, if you claimed it back you would have probably paid off the xbox by now
