Just thought I'd mention (and it doesn't bother me) but I cannot log out!! When I click on Log Out, it tells me my cookies have been cleared, but as soon as I either go to forum index either in same browser (Firefox) or alternatively IE or Opera, I am still logged in.

Just thought I'd let you know...

I'm using Firefox - and when I log out it does stay logged out. Cookies cleared and it won't let me back in until I have logged back in.

Have you checked your FF Options? Clear History/Clear Cache etc?

When he goes back on, does he then have to log back in or is he still logged in?

I never have to log back in the next day as I am still logged in...

Well it only happens on this forum - I am a member of a few and they all log me out ok.

I'm not worried about it, just wondered if it happened to anyone else. I will check my options in FF and see if clearing history makes any difference....

I don't usually bother logging out - hence my 'live' status when VP logged in. However, when I DO log out, it does seem to work. It also may have something to do with the 'remember me' option in the logging in screen (this forum) - if you don't tick it the cookie should remove itself...

Well I tried clearing my private data instead of cookies per se and that seemed to do it. End of another exciting moment! I shan't bother to log out either, it's so nice to be here in your sleep...scared.gif

ROFLOL!!

I downloaded the extension then shut down my browser, having copied the url for this page so I could jump back, and when I re-opened, 1) I was logged out!! and 2) All the posts in this thread were back to front!!

Shut it all back down and re-opened again and it's all fine and back to normal now

It's best feature is remembering and restoring your last session...once you get used to it you will realise why nothing else even comes close to Firefox...

Yeah that sounds like a good feature - I already think Firefox is the ONLY browser and won't allow my kids to use anything else on their computers for all sorts of reasons. I only use Firefox but do have IE, Netscape and Opera for testing website compatibility...
