I have a house that I own that has been adapted by the council to meet the needs of a child of mine who is in a wheelchair petmenantly. He is 19.

I seperated from her over two years ago, my son does not want to live with her, so now lives with me in a flat. The house has a shower room for wheelchair users and hoists in the ceiling. She lives in the house with another son of mine who is physically able. I feel I shoudl live in the house with my disabled son, she refuses to move out, what rights are there and what can I do

Do you own the house, or is it owned jointly? Are you, or were you, married?

How old is your other son? Would he be happy to stay in the house if you were to move back with your disabled son?

It is hard to suggest anything without knowing more, the courts are likely to put the needs of any children involved first, children normally being under the age of 18.
