I found his speech confusing.

Some parts appeared to be endorsing JC, others not so.

The bit about Foot being told his policies were 20 years in the past. Foot replying that he did indeed write those ideas 20 years ago but the problem was they were 50 years ahead of their time. That seems to be an answer for the "JC will take us back to the 80's"

Also bits about the party being united and not infighting (Only JC is advocating Unity) and being popular and having a broad appeal (JC seems to be doing that)

There were some obvious cheap shots " Alliance with Russia etc and anti Semitic" Which are all based on propaganda

At the end of the day, Labour can only regain government by adopting either of 2 approaches.

1. Become more Tory than Tory

2. Win back Scotland (Which the SDP took by fighting an anti-establishment and anti-austerity platform) which is what JC appears to stand for.

They are now dragging out labour has- beens.

First Liar Blair, then Brown.

Hardly credible as the labour party has lost the previous two General Election carrying on with new labour clap-trap that people now reject.

Do people honestly believe these two dinosaurs are anymore forward thinking than Corbyn?

People do not want the Oxbridge same crap different nappy political clone, they want an individual personality and passion, somewhat lacking in British Politics.

Agree, the members voting for Corbyn are unlikely to be Blair or Brown supporters.

I thought they banished that welsh windbag to the EU??

Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel to try and ridicule Corbyn.

And will someone get rid of Andy Burnham make up artist, he is starting to look like death warmed up with all that mascara and eye shadow

I don't know what planet Andy Burmham is on thinking that promising Corbyn a job if he wins would attract Corbyn supporters!!

Lord Kinnock, who is backing Andy Burnham for the Labour leadership, accused some in the Labour movement of resorting to "a posture of resistance" and "corrosive" self-indulgence.

Well he would know all about posturing and corrosive self indulgence, wouldn't he ?

Oh god, that's it then, the worlds biggest *rsehole gobbing off again, he's bound to lose now.

Hmm. well for sure that would definitely turn me off voting for Labour.

'Jack McConnell, the veteran Labour politician, has condemned the party’s handling of its leadership election as a shambles, and said it puts the contest at risk. With the contenders set for an emergency meeting to discuss efforts to weed out infiltrators...'
