Hi guys.

My dad is 80 years old, and tech wizard he is not. For some reason some of the buttons on his keyboard are not correct. When he presses 'o' the number 6 appears. And different characters appear when when he presses any of the buttons towards the right hand side of the keyboard. Through remote access I have gone to keyboard language and settings, and everything seems normal. It is set to United Kingdom, and the layout is correct. Is there anything else that can cause this to happen?

If all else fails, kick them where it hurts and SOD'EM;)

turn off the number lock

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Just to add to what dx mentioned... The button will usually be labeled at the top of the keyboard somewhere called "NumLock"... Often enough, if it's a laptop, you might have to fiddle and press the "Fn" button + NumLock at the same time to turn it off.

This link will give you a download of a pic of a laptop keyboard showing what I mean...
