Thanks, is noddle ok

It is my understanding that it isn't as up to date as the other 3 agencies because companies don't report to Noddle as they do Experian, etc. However, if you want a quickish over view on a regular basis then Noddle is ok.

I am not sure if Noddle is something to do with Call Credit who like Experian and Equifax will give you a 30 day free trial, but you need to be very swift in cancelling your free trial in order to avoid being charged their exorbitant monthly fees.

Hi

Just for clarification, Noddle are part of callcredit and have (as the email to me earlier said) 1 million users now. As this is done online with no actual paper involvement, they ned confirmation that you are who you say you are.

When I first started with Noddle, they also asked me for my card details but no money was taken. I would assume that is the same with you.

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Thinking about this, Motormile have defaulted this 2009 payday loan account in 2012. I take it that was when they purchased the account

Can i do anything as to the default date being 2012 if the original creditor never defaulted the account in 2009?. I have been doing some reading and it seems an account does not have to be defaulted to be sold. Though i would think motormile would have to issue a default notice in their own name giving me the opportunity to rectify the default before registering a default with the CRA

Live accounts (not in arrears) can be sold or transferred to another lender with only a letter to inform you of the fact and that the terms and conditions should stay the same.

With an account that is in arrears, a default notice should be issued followed by a termination letter (unless the DCA is collecting on behalf of the creditor) which I don't believe is the case with MMF. All that waffling leads me to this.

When you ar in arrears with the original creditor, it is down to them to default you although they can choose not to. As MMF have now defaulted you on an old debt, this can be challenged. The original debt arose in 09 therefore all default notices should carry that year as the default date but at the moment I wouldn't poke that particular stick unless MMF are chasing you already. 2009-2015 is within the timelines for SB status.

I've a few on Noodle with Quickbridge (Uk) LTD (Wonga) and all show account end date when they were paid off usually after 7 days.
