A big hello to you all

I have a question I hope someone can answer for me,

my OH and I have a number of credit card accounts

that were defaulted at the latter part of 2008 to the beginning of 2009,

some of the accounts we made token payments of £1.00 and only stopped them about the middle of 2014

they are not Statute Barred.

If once the account has been removed from our credit file

and then an original creditor or DCA was to take one of us to court to try and get a CCJ against one of us,

would the CCJ show on our credit file.

Hope this makes sense, we are just curious how it works.

Many thanks

Spur Man

list and tell us about the debts...

have you sent everyone a CCA request..esp the DCA's you have been paying.

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Unfortunately the answer is yes, it will show unless you can pay it off within 28 days.

***Pedant alert***

Strictly speaking, the deadline is one calendar month.

By all means, though, pay it off by the 28th day to be on the safe side :-)
