Hi Techies,

I have a quick issue that is bogging me and not much help coming from Mr Google either.

I will explain. I have just been handed an old work Laptop for my personal use – Model is a DELL LATITUDE E4310 Laptop.

I have put a Windows 7 OS Build on it but simply cannot get the Wireless Network to function. I guess I need Drivers for this. The Wireless Software is missing so I cannot get the Laptop to pick up the List of Wireless Network Routers Around me either as there is no Wireless Software on the Laptop. The Bluetooth Software is fine.

I have been on Google to Download the Network Drivers for that model of Laptop but got these drivers that only ended up to be lots of Spywares and Adds of all sorts. A waste of time really. Dell website has not been as helpful either.

Can someone point me in the direction of where to get Wireless Network Drivers Software for a Dell Latitude E 4310 Laptop Model Please?

Thanks all.

:o :o  :D :D

Had the same problem years ago when I reinstalled Windows on a Dell Inspiron which by now has answered for it's crimes at the gates of Computer Heaven.

get the Ethernet port going using the default win7 drivers

and hardwire the laptop to the internet

go up on the dell uk site

http://www.dell.com/support/home/uk/en/ukdhs1/?c=uk&l=en&s=dhs&~ck=mn

http://www.dell.com/support/home/uk/en/ukdhs1/product-support/product/latitude-e4310/drivers?~srd=true&sk=e4310&scat=sup

either install their 'auto-detect' software

or look on the bottom

and type in your service tag number in the correct box

it will auto download the correct drivers eitherway.

you will NEED to install ALL the other drivers too

else they all wont work.

you must use the dell Ethernet driver [replace the windows ones]

chipset drivers

install them FIRST

then ethernet

then the wireless drivers

DO NOT rely or use ANY default windows drivers

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..
