I defaulted on a wonga loan over a year a go (427 days according to my account) but I haven't heard anything from them or a debt collector. I defaulted on other debts around the same time due to not having a job and I've been repaying them through the debt collectors they were assigned to. Should I make an attempt to repay it or just ignore it until my situation is better?

If I'm being honest I don't feel that bad about not paying it back :|

Ignore it for now, and wait to see if anyone makes contact. Keep the money you want to use to repay it, set aside though. So when wonga ( not a dca) come calling, you can pay them the cash in one lump sum.

Yeah I haven't had a job for very long so I'm trying to get some independence and can use my money for much better things right now. I can still setup a repayment plan via the site which would be about £50 a month I think but the last thing I want to do is give them my debit card details. When I'm in a far better position I'll happily pay it off in full because I want all my defaults settled.

Set up a plan for what you can realistically afford, not what they say. Then when you decide to pay it, use standing order only. Dont give them your bank details.

Thanks for the advice! Worked out well in the end as they've wiped the debt.
