Court advice please! CAFCASS

Hi,

My ex partner is trying to get access to my son.

 

I stopped contact just under a year ago.

 

CAFCASS have done a section 7 report and due to the extensive amount of domestic abuse

on my exes criminal record

 

CAFCASS have recommended he go on a domestic abuse perpetrators course and have no contact in the interim.

 

I am saying no contact full stop as my ex is not only a domestic abuser, he is a drug dealer,

has bizarre religious belief about black power and is involved in other criminal activities.

 

Since the section 7 report was done my ex has been arrested again after a domestic incident

with his current girlfriend and police are continuing with the charges.

 

Is there any way I can get confirmation of this to take to my next court date?

 

I don't have a solicitor and can not afford one or get legal aid.

 

Surely the section 7 report should be amended to add on new domestic incidents?

 

Also, is there a way I can get a copy of my exes criminal record with all incidents not just convictions?

 

Any help would be great!

That is absolutely appalling. Why are they suggesting your son has any contact at all?

 

I'll ask some of the legal guys to come to your thread.

How did you find out about this? Even if you can't get the formal record I imagine you could refer to other evidence.

The courts wil give him access only supervised

Did he got to court for access ? Did the court ask cafcas?

Is so, did your son say he wished to see his father, kayenails?
