Your solicitor sounds awful. Have you paid him up to date? If so you should ask for your files.

 

When your solicitor negotiated the split of sale proceeds, surely he must have known that this was pointless if your ex was going to take everything to cover his debts?

Sorry, I know the solicitor is a legal aid solicitor, but he should still let you have your files if he has information about your case. As he's told you there is no money left to represent you, I assume he's saying you will get no further help from him?

When exactly did you buy the house together and why are you not on the Deeds? Did you do a joint mortgage application?

There usually is a duty solicitor who may be able to give advice on the day so it's important GT has everything ready and in order.

Ok thanks i will ring the court and find out before hand, my solicitor would have been paid by legal aid but if i come out off this with eny money he has told me i will have too pay it back, i dont know why im not onvthe deeds but i do have a copy of the morgage agreement and only my husband has signed but the morgage account is in both names, my credit rating is rubhish because off him

You'll probably be asked to pay back some of the money, but if the current solicitor has been paid by legal aid and is no longer acting for you then you can ask for your file.

 

I would think you are not on the Deeds because your husband instructed your solicitor not to put you down as a purchaser of the house. He has been very manipulative here.
