I claimed against Welcome last year through the FSCS and was successful - in fact the process took three weeks from start to finish.

 

Im now on month five of the DAF / YCC saga!

I honestly believe that not many people take them to court. A lot of people get put off by their delaying tactics and threatening 'legal speak' or will try to go to the FOS by the insurer route. It doesn't help when you are looking for information and threads aren't updated, so you don't know if the person has gone ahead with their case or given up. Sites like saynotoyes or carcreditcomplaints no longer exist, which is a real shame.

I was just wondering if you had the actual invoice for the car in your SAR pack. I don't mean the agreement, but the invoice for the car itself that shows the deposit being taken off the car and not the insurances. I've just put a copy of mine up on my thread. Do you think that may have any significance?

Any news on this case yet?

I am in the process of claiming missold PPI against DAF so any help would be appreciated.
